During my time at FCB Health, I tackled one of the largest problems facing Americans’ health today. Colorectal cancer is the third leading cause of cancer-related deaths in the US, but also the most preventable. 

Cologuard is an at-home screening test meant to provide a more comfortable option that can save lives. Many adults avoid getting checked because of the fear and stigma surrounding the traditional screening process, with minority groups being the most affected by this disease.

 

The Ask: 

Close the screening gap among communities of color by positioning Cologuard as the most user-friendly screening option, and influence doctors to include it in every screening conversation.

To put things briefly:

Get African Americans and Latinxs over 45 

Who are too busy and hesitant to put health matters into unfamiliar hands

To trust in the power of prevention

By offering them a personal purpose protector
